Olive arrived at Care for Wild Rhino Sanctuary in November 2013. She was ten months old when her mother was shot by poachers in the Sabi Sands Nature Reserve.
She is a beautiful, young adult rhino now, with the attitude and feistiness of a teenager! She is not at all interested in interacting with people.
Olive knows her place in her small crash. She is always in the middle, the place where she is happiest.
When the rhinos walk through the bush to graze, she will always lead Forrest and follow Timbi and Hawk.
She and her group have recently been successfully released back into the wild where they roam and graze freely together.
