VENUE
WHERE WE ARE

CARE for WILD AFRICA is situated on a Game Reserve and Nature Estate that is 2 593.1653 hectares in size. The Estate and Nature Reserve are located on the banks of the a Creek, Noord-Kaap and Queens Rivers outside of the city of Nelspruit - the Capital of Mpumalanga - on the National Road (R 40), halfway between Nelspruit and Barberton (approximately 25 kilometers from Nelspruit).

The Nature Estate offers a Nature Park that is home to a variety wild life animals  such as Black-backed Jackal, Giraffe, Zebra, Blue Wildebeest, Waterbuck, Kudu, Impala, Duikers , Bushbuck, Steenbok, Warthog, Bushpig, Baboon and Monkey.

Mpumalanga is one of South Africa’s top tourist destinations and boasts some of Africa’s most magnificent scenery. Few regions in the world can equal its extraordinary beauty - mountains, panoramic passes, valleys, rivers, waterfalls and forests.  Activities available are Fly Fishing, Trout Fishing (Sabie and Dullstroom), Tiger Fishing (Komatipoort), Sudwala and Echo Caves, Hiking Trails, Gods Window, Blyde River Canyon, Three Rondavels, Paragliding (Barberton), Micro-lighting, Hot-air Ballooning, Quad Bike Trails, Bungee Jumping (Swings and Skyway Wires), Chimp Eden (Jane Goodall), Nelspruit Botanical Gardens, Nelspruit Reptile Park, Horse Trails, Birding, Hunting and the famous Kruger National Park. All the destinations are within an hour’s drive from the farm.

If you consider that Mozambique and Swaziland are only approximately 100 kilometers away from the Nature Reserve, these fascinating countries can be an ‘add-on’ to your visit once you have completed your stay with us
